How to join Farmasi from Jamaica

Farmasi has no local operation in Jamaica. You enroll on the United States site and orders ship from the US warehouse.

This works differently from a market with its own Farmasi office. Because Farmasi does not operate locally in Jamaica, you enroll on the United States site, picking your country from the dropdown, and orders ship from the US warehouse. Signing up is the easy part. What actually decides whether the business works for you is what happens when the parcel reaches customs in Jamaica — so that is what this page covers, with the real numbers.

Do not go looking for a Farmasi Jamaica website — there isn't one. Enrollment happens on farmasius.com with my sponsor code already applied.

Pick "Jamaica (From US)" in the dropdown

This is the step people skip, and it is the one that matters. In the "Register for" selector at the top of the form, find your option and select it. Leave it on the United States and the form will ask you for details you do not have.

Fill in your details and address

Name, email, phone and the address in Jamaica where you want your order delivered. Check what the form asks for before you pay — this is where most people get stuck.

It is a $19.99 one-time enrollment fee, with the option to add a product kit. Once confirmed you get your back-office credentials and your own online store, and the order ships from the United States.

Customs and taxes when your order lands in Jamaica

Jamaica has the most generous de minimis of this whole group: USD 100 FOB, and below it the Jamaica Customs Agency states plainly that no duties or taxes are payable. Note the cliff, though — above USD 100, duties and taxes apply to the full CIF value, not just to the excess. GCT is charged on top, along with a 0.5% environmental levy, a 0.3% standards compliance fee and a small stamp duty. Cosmetics escape Special Consumption Tax, which is confined to petroleum, alcohol, tobacco and vehicles.

Paying in US dollars from Jamaica

Card payment to a US site is routine. The USD 100 threshold rewards ordering little and often rather than in bulk.

Product rules and registration

Labelling is enforced at the border here, and it catches US-packaged goods. Labels must be in English, and dates must be dd/mm/yy or yy/mm/dd — not the US mm/dd/yy. The Bureau of Standards Jamaica is known to block entry and sale of improperly labelled goods.

The GCT registration threshold rose to JMD 15 million of annual turnover in April 2025. Below it you register as a Registered Person and do not charge GCT.

Farmasi has been opening new markets steadily. If it opens in Jamaica, ask entrepreneur support how that affects your account rather than assuming the migration is automatic.
