How to join Farmasi from Trinidad and Tobago
Farmasi has no local operation in Trinidad and Tobago. You enroll on the United States site and orders ship from the US warehouse.
This works differently from a market with its own Farmasi office. Because Farmasi does not operate locally in Trinidad and Tobago, you enroll on the United States site, picking your country from the dropdown, and orders ship from the US warehouse. Signing up is the easy part. What actually decides whether the business works for you is what happens when the parcel reaches customs in Trinidad and Tobago โ so that is what this page covers, with the real numbers.
The sign-up, step by step
- 1
Get a sponsor link
The system needs to know whose team you are joining. Enroll through the link on this page and you join mine, and I walk you through it from day one.
- 2
Go to the United States site

Pick "Trinidad and Tobago (From US)" in the dropdown
This is the step people skip, and it is the one that matters. In the "Register for" selector at the top of the form, find your option and select it. Leave it on the United States and the form will ask you for details you do not have.
- 4
Fill in your details and address
Name, email, phone and the address in Trinidad and Tobago where you want your order delivered. Check what the form asks for before you pay โ this is where most people get stuck.

Pay and wait for your order
It is a $19.99 one-time enrollment fee, with the option to add a product kit. Once confirmed you get your back-office credentials and your own online store, and the order ships from the United States.

Customs and taxes when your order lands in Trinidad and Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago is the only country on this list that taxes the act of buying online. A 7% Online Purchase Tax applies to goods purchased electronically and imported by air, and it is still in force โ a January 2025 release granted waivers for specific goods only, not generally. VAT at 12.5% is then charged on customs value plus all duties and taxes, so it compounds on top of the OPT. Import duty runs from 0% to 30%, with most household goods at 20%, and freight sits inside the tax base, so cheap shipping matters more here than almost anywhere else.
Paying in US dollars from Trinidad and Tobago
The real constraint is not the law but getting dollars. The Central Bank has publicly acknowledged that demand for foreign exchange outstrips supply and that legitimate requests are not always met. Commercial banks have responded by cutting card forex limits โ check yours before you commit to an order.
Product rules and registration
Confirm any product registration requirement with the relevant authority before ordering at volume.
If you start selling regularly
Between the Online Purchase Tax, compounding VAT and a tight foreign exchange market, fewer and larger orders make more sense here than frequent small ones.
Frequently asked questions from Trinidad and Tobago
Why do I enroll on the United States site?
Because Farmasi has no local operation in Trinidad and Tobago. The company lists these countries in the dropdown of the US form so you can enroll and receive product from its warehouse.
Will the product actually reach Trinidad and Tobago?
Yes, it ships from the United States warehouse to your address. What differs from a local market is the transit time and, above all, the import taxes explained above.
What currency do I pay in?
US dollars. Your bank applies the conversion and, depending on the country, an extra charge or levy.
Do I need a US address?
That depends on what the form asks once you select your country. Check before you pay โ plenty of people enroll without changing the dropdown and then find themselves asked for US details.
What if Farmasi opens an office in Trinidad and Tobago?
Farmasi has been opening new markets steadily. If it opens in Trinidad and Tobago, ask entrepreneur support how that affects your account rather than assuming the migration is automatic.
Can I legally resell what I import?
Importing for personal use and reselling are different things in law. Read the product rules and the section on going official โ that is where the specifics for Trinidad and Tobago are.
