How to join Farmasi from Zimbabwe

Farmasi has no local operation in Zimbabwe. You enroll on the United States site and orders ship from the US warehouse.

This works differently from a market with its own Farmasi office. Because Farmasi does not operate locally in Zimbabwe, you enroll on the United States site, picking your country from the dropdown, and orders ship from the US warehouse. Signing up is the easy part. What actually decides whether the business works for you is what happens when the parcel reaches customs in Zimbabwe — so that is what this page covers, with the real numbers.

Do not go looking for a Farmasi Zimbabwe website — there isn't one. Enrollment happens on farmasius.com with my sponsor code already applied.

This is the step people skip, and it is the one that matters. In the "Register for" selector at the top of the form, find your option and select it. Leave it on the United States and the form will ask you for details you do not have.

Name, email, phone and the address in Zimbabwe where you want your order delivered. Check what the form asks for before you pay — this is where most people get stuck.

It is a $19.99 one-time enrollment fee, with the option to add a product kit. Once confirmed you get your back-office credentials and your own online store, and the order ships from the United States.

Customs and taxes when your order lands in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe has one requirement that matters more than any duty rate. Cosmetics are explicitly on the CBCA list — HS 3303 perfumes, 3304 beauty and skin care, 3305 hair products all require a Consignment Based Conformity Assessment certificate issued before shipment, with no value threshold and no personal-effects carve-out written into SI 124 of 2020. A consignment that arrives without one attracts a penalty of 15% of CIF value plus inspection costs. One thing in your favour: cosmetics are not on ZIMRA's 25% surtax list, which covers foods, beverages, cleaning products, candles, footwear and appliances.

Paying in US dollars from Zimbabwe

The traveller's rebate of USD 200 per person per month applies to accompanied goods only and expressly not to goods for commercial purposes, so it does not cover a shipped order. On currency, the legal position is genuinely tangled: the Exchange Control Act permits settlement in foreign currency until the end of 2030, while a 2019 provision making the Zimbabwe dollar sole legal tender was never amended.

What if Farmasi opens an office in Zimbabwe?

Farmasi has been opening new markets steadily. If it opens in Zimbabwe, ask entrepreneur support how that affects your account rather than assuming the migration is automatic.
